This thing is not working for me. I killed 30 groups + some adds around them, so about 230-240 mobs. got around 60g in silver, about 40g in gray and ONLY 3 greens so that makes it about 1.25% chance for a green to drop in my case. Dont thing it's a good place to farm, since u can get much much more just by flying and farming herbs....

I worked with this guide for a few hours. Here is my results

First hour:

4 greens
7 stacks of frostweave
89 gold in coin drop
78 gold in greys


Second hour:

9 greens
2 blues
14 stacks of frostweave
89 gold in coin
92 gold in greys
(i got quicker on second run.)

Third hour:
7 greens
13 stacks of frostweave
84 gold in coin
89 gold in grey

overall this works good, and is quick gold, but i would say not the advertized ammount. THis is not 4k gold in 5 hours, more like about 1-1.5k-ish gold every 5 hours.

This is impossible as a DK i am good geared and all that... Maybe i need to be in frost.

doesn't work really good for mages because the mobs resist frost nova

Im doing this with my Death Knight Blood Spec but got tanking gear on and is in frost aura.

I pull one group each time thats mean 7-8 mobs. In one hour I got 159g when I sold all the green + grey I found. I cant see how it can be 4000g in 5 hour :S ..

But its kinda cool because I just aoe them as DK and Im never lower than 80% in health and when they die I gain health so when all 8 mobs is dead im 100% in health again and ready to go .... After I loot them ;b ..

Easy to do as a balance druid.

Put Rejuvenation, regrowth and 1 stack of lifebloom.

Pop starfall, near the adds, then barkskin. then hurricane, with decent gear all adds die within 10 seconds and you move on with nearly full health because of the HOTs

Actually it's quite possible he did. Just because it's got a low chance doesn't mean to say it's impossible. You could get an epic off a mob, then 10000 kills later get another epic, or 10 kills later. That's the beauty of randomness ^^

EDIT: And for the hunter struggling to AoE, try and get a Tenacity pet.

Try and get a Crocodile, Turtle or a Bear (Unless Gorillas still have Thunderclap.) Crocodiles have Bad Attitude which will do on average 100 damage to every mob striking it for 45 seconds, turtles get the 50% damage reduction for however long and Bears get the swipe every 7 seconds, making them more AoE efficient than other pets.

I suggest something like that, as it increases threat generation as well as ALOT of stamina and armor gain.
