1. Addons are light-weight programs that attach to your WoW client and enhance your playing expiriance...Addons are used to make playing easier.

2.Addons commonly come in RAR & ZIP archives. To install them you should UnZip (Extract if RAR) them to C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons (Or where-ever your WoW is installed,just put it in the WoW directory Interface/Addons). Updating Addons is simple,you just download the new version of the addon,and overwrite the old one.

3.Well here comes the best part.Addons "I" (You) should use.

Map Addon
I suggest using Cartographer.Best Light-Weight Map there is. Removes the so-called "fog of war",and is easy to move around and use.Includes Battleground Maps,and lots of other various usefull stuff like Mining Spots,Herbalism spots,Instance Maps,Zone-Info,Look n Feel (Ability to change the size and transparency of the map at any time)and the ability to see guildmates on map.

CastBar
The absolutely best addon to use is Quartz.It's a cast bar that has: Weapon Swing timer,Buff Duration,Latency (The lag of the spell,VERY USEFULL),Time Untill Cast,Global Cooldown Timer and many more! You can do quests,raid,achievment farm,gold farm or do absolutely anything,this bar is sure to help you somehow.A must have!

Threat Meter
Omen is the best.It (like every other threat meter) shows how much threat does each Party/Raid mamber have. (Threat = Aggro = Chance of the monster atacking you)

Questing Addon
QuestHelper.Well It's the most popular free questing addon.It shows waypoints to quest location,coordinates and quest requirements.Easy to configure and use.
(Note: Popular questing addons are: Zygor's InGame leveling guide,Joana's Horde leveling guide,CarboniteQuest,but all those addons are not free.) [You can get them by torrenting 4 free ]

Well AtlasLoot is an easy to use addon that shows you what does drop from which boss.It also can show World BoE Epics,And PVP & PVE sets of armor.
