Make gold out of Dual Spec

Hello guys,

Been checking last patch's content for a few days now and specially the dual spec improvement.

The problem about it is the 1k g it cost to get it. It may seem cheap for such a nice tool but i had around 4 char to put it on :S

Anyway, i saw an opportunity in that system when i was levling my 70 warrior yesterday. I had been leveling Fury and i had just bought the dual spec to tank in Wotlk instances. I got invited in a nexus group as Dps at first but the tank left right away

So i PRETENTED not to have the dual spec and i asked 10g from each of them to respec and i said i would pay the 10g left myself. Then i just went to a city to see the warrior trainer. (so they think you're respeccing)

--> Switch spec with dual spec

And there you go, nice 40g profit

This method could also work with any healer. If you're group is missing a healer, pretend to be dps and ask gold for respec ^^.

Also check the LFG chat and pannel. If a group is missing either a tank or a healer (depending on your class) propose you service for the respec cost.

Edit : People can find out that you're dual spec on WoW armory so you might want to avoid 10 man+ content

hm, but keep in mind that your 2nd spec can be seen in WOW armory....

The best way you can exploit this is to have crappy gear with you ( for 2nd ofc ) and then when something good drops (like some epic gear ) you DE it, if u can DE. I did i couple of times and got some 300G profit just from that....

This is a very stupid idea. I always check someone's armory before I invite them to a group. If one of the group members looked you up, they could easily see that you are a tank and DPS with your "non-existent" Dual Spec.

This method also gives very little money, and doesn't allow you to take gear for your offspec.

I know that some people might find out about it. But almost no one check armmoriy for 5 mans groups (both heroic and reg)

I know the gold given isnt that much but i never say no to an easy 40g.

Finally, lots of posts on mmowned suggest that people on WoW can sometimes be stupids . (almost all scams)

And the consequences are small.

accept i would just look at your recent achievments and see that u had purchased dual specs and call you out on it, thus wrecking your reputation

First, Mmowned members dont even represent 50% of the people playing WoW.
Second, who's REALLY going to check your achievments when you say you need to respec?
Third, reputation in WoW? (wtf)

anyway theres always a way out. Say you'Re borrowing a friend's account and didnt even knew about the last patch content.
