I'm certain you're wrong. People like you just irk me with your misinformed arrogance. Here's a thought, join a random pug, dg the first mob, realize you're wrong then leave the group.

Well, we both have our reasons, I just prefer more defensive capability over an extra frost strike here and there. You're going to put out insane aggro with our without the glyph, it's not like we're in BC where DPS actually has to watch their threat.
Stop playing with 3k dps. A glyph does not make or break a tanks survivability, but it does for tps (3d zerg strat lulz). Stop spreading your terribad tips to other dks, there's enough people playing the class with no idea what to do. It's even worse when they THINK they do.

Edit: Since I feel like i'm just thread crappin on the thread crapper, i'll throw some random info in.

At the start of every fight, start out with your normal rotation - IT - PS - BS - BS - SS for example, then immediately hit empower rune weapon and follow up your attacks with whatever you're supposed to in order to secure agro, very crucial on fights such as Maly ;o

Pop a potion just seconds before pulling - if it's a resistance fight (sarth 3d / hodir off the top of my head) http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9036, if not then http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40093, to be able to pop a second potion mid battle.

Primary stat to stack is sta or dodge. Never stack parry or defense, until ~800 dodge rating, which is when defense will start pulling ahead point for point in avoidance.

Dankone, just another thing to rase your tower, in VoA, Archavon cleares threat on the tank when he picks him up. To regain aggro, I use DEATH GRIP, and spares my taunt if it miss (which it don't do). This gives me, and keep your pants on, TOP THREAT!. And the mob won't just stop attack me after 2 sec.

Next time you're on a boss as DPS, DG it in the middle of the fight, run away, and watch it run back to the tank. I've done this a couple of times on mistake as a DPSer (I sometimes forget to change my keybinds in a raid just after I had PVP'd, and I pop death grip accidentally). I remember doing this clearly on Maexxna accidentally, and on Feugen intentionally (to bring him back to the tesla coil). I do admit that I'm not right about its behavior. It seems to act like a mocking blow at some times and a taunt at others.

A single glyph choice makes me a blabbering idiot? You're right, I don't do Sarth 3D zerg when I tank, but I contend that a single frost strike won't change very much much. Aggro management is NOTHING like it was in Burning Crusade. Only the initial few seconds of the fight is it important, and ERW should give you more than enough headway on the DPS, who shouldn't be popping cooldowns until your aggro is established.

And chill out, what the hell did I do to you?

Like I said, from what I've observed DG's behavior is screwy.

    Thanks for a guide.

But i think, that the best tanking spec for a DK now is Frost (IMHO).
Like this Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
The rotation is always based on what you have to tank. And talents also depend on it. So for exmple you can pick Acclimation if you need spell resist or pick Morbidity for trash etc...
Frost worked very well for me in Ulduar (10/14), so i think its the best tree for tanks now.

You think that now, because you haven't tried General Vezax.

As I've said earlier, you can tank in each spec. This mean tank specs is just personal. I prefer tanking as blood or unholy, while some prefer Frost. If you are having fun with your spec, play it, don't listen to people saying things like "you should respecc" or "your talent build is bad, you should change into ***" and on and on..

Frost worked very well for me in Ulduar (10/14), so i think its the best tree for tanks now.
Unholy worked very well for me in ulduar..
