Hunter Pre-Raid Gear / Glyph / Stat breakdowns

Before you flame. This WAS TAKEN from Xumio of the WoW Hunter forums. All credit goes to him, and for the rest of the guide go their and check it out yourself..even though it's for patch 3.0.8..which is soon to be trainwrecked by 3.1. I'm just posting part of it for you lazy hunters (:

After reading the disclaimer...
I thought this would be a nice chunk of the guide for people looking for entry level gear and only know of this forum, or want something easy and simple to lookout without digging through thousands of spam messages on the Hunter forums.

Glyphs:
-----------
Steady Shot - while steady shot is getting nerfed, it will still be ~20% of your damage with this glyph on.
Serpent Sting - the less time you spend refreshing this, the more you're dpsing.

3rd slot - Based on what you need. In no particular order.

1. IAotH glyph - if you are below ~10% haste unbuffed using this glyph will get you Quick shot procs that are effectively 2 talent points in IAotH stronger and put down to 1.5sec steady shots.
2. Aspect of Viper - while survival has great mana efficiency as is, you still do spend some time in viper. By increasing the mana returned, especially by explosive shot (which currently gives a full bit of mana back for EACH of the 3 ticks) you will spend much less time in viper.
3. Immolation Trap - most commonly used if you are trap dancing.
4. Frost Trap - if you are kiting adds on Gluth, this is helpful.
5. Aimed Shot - if Aimed Shot proves to be a viable and functional addition to the rotation, this is one way to slightly reduce the mana cost.
6. Hunters Mark - if you are the IHM hunter in your raids this is a nice boost. Even a nice boost if you don't have any hunters with IHM.

Minor Glyphs:
Use the same minor glyphs as you did with BM or MM as most of them are rather useless anyways. I personally use Mend Pet, Feign Death, and Revive Pet.
