Surprisingly no threads on this have been made, but Blizzard has already released a 750~mb PRELOAD patch that allows you to pretty much play almost instantly with a tiny little extra patch.

TL: DR - Download this now, so you don't have to download as much come patch day.

I don't really see the point of this - common sense is one thing, but this is done automatically by the background downloader.

For Vista users, the files will be downloaded to

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft\Patches

instead of your wow folder.
