Yet another, 77+ AoE farming spot.

I see numerous posts exploiting the Anguish quest chain, offering random and various AoE leveling spots, and numerous quest guides. None of these AoE guides appear to be for level 77-80, and most of them have faded off due to Blizzard hot fixing, or reducing mob XP by half, such as they did with

    that great spot.

As I am never a fan of questing, and am an avid fan of AoE farming and botting, I will share a spot that I find to be great for XP/Gold, if you are AE leveling in Northrend at 77+

    Breakdown:

    The mob:
    Library Guardian
Library Guardian - NPC - World of Warcraft
-Nearly an 80% drop rate on grey items, which vendor for ~20s.
-Nearly a 30% chance at dropping relics of Ulduar, which on my server, go for 3g ea. Can also be used to raise Sons of Hodir rep.

PLUS if you're an engineer you can harvest the mobs

    The area:
Located directly north of the Crash Site.

A couple over head shots with examples of the mob pulls, and radar pings indicating the mob numbers.

    http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/4495/mmo2.jpg

The mobs are generally in close proximity of each other, and easy to round up.

You will find 4 good chains of 8-10 mobs you can grab, then restart your loop. Spawn rate is decent for level 80s. If you're leveling, due to your slower kill rate, you'll appreciate the spawn rate a lot more than a more geared farmer would.

Go at it and have fun, for what its worth i find this to be the equivalent of an average quester, if you sit down and are dedicated to it.

Yet another, 77+ AoE farming spot.

Depends on the kill rate, TBH.

Farming on a equal level "77 paladin"
using a mob tagging method and my DK main, the one viewed in the SS,

    I was getting a variation of 400-500kXP/hr.

That is no rested xp, and non stop grinding, and a level 80 kill rate.

Correct, as stated, its intention is leveling with gold being a benefit.

A class in quested gear, at 77 should have a good enough respawn to continuously pull.

On my DK, I bomb the **** out of everything in <2mins flat and end up AFKing for a couple while I wait for re-pops.

But hey, since when do you NOT deal with respawn rate timers

Ever since Legion Hold/BT supplicants I've been dealing with timers.
