With the new changes of WotLK, people may have noticed that feral druids have gotten quite a buff in PvP. Mainly focusing on bleeds on targets to keep up damage on them. In the new patch, 3.1, these bleeds will also have a chance to crit, making feral druids even more deadlier than before.
I'm here to help discuss some ways on taking down a target, mainly in a 2v2 environment.
What I run:
I run with a holy paladin so our burst isn't that great, but with him specced repentance we can get quite a bit of CC out of the fight.
The main idea:
Build combo points and keep bleeds up.
The process:
Begin building combo points with a rotation something similar to this:
Mangle -> Rake -> Shred -> Shred.
After that you can do multiple things.
Savage Roar - Building up your AP for the next go around
Rip - Constant bleed for pressure on the healer
Maim - This is if you're confident that the healer will die (mainly if they're at about 50%)
If you choose either Savage Roar or Rip, go back again and build more combo points up for a maim, which will finish the healer.
After you Maim your target, you have to act fast, assuming you'll be out of energy, pop Tiger's Fury and Shred 2x. With the shred glyph, you should be critting and hitting for alot.
After those two shreds, the target should be dead, if not, pop out. Cyclone and regen energy for another shred or mangle.
If you have a healer who can CC. A great time would be right after Maim wears off.
I'm welcoming any questions you have about feral druids in general or this particular way to take down an enemy.
Thanks
