Wow.. never heard of an economy that bad. For anyone wanna try this.. just use the spreadsheet i mentioned and you can see how much you can profit on your server. I guess it's rare if you can't make any profit out of this

Yea I really hate blackhand's economy, but I can also buy nobles decks at 6k gold during the darkmoon faire weeks. I'm going to wait till next friday/saturday while everyone is raiding and see if the prices change for the better.

during raiding time is a good time to make gold.. if you always put in the gems at night or in the morning, you will probably get undercut befor anyone will even look at the ah for gems.. if you put the gems in at high times.. on saturday/sunday late afternoon/evening. You'll make the most money out of it.

Hmm, anyone check out boulderfist prices (horde) yet? I'm on vacation, can't get on WoW sadly.

Also, I was thinking of trying this but I would need to level enchanting and JC all the way up first, seeming how I only have around 1k gold right now after starting WoW again, this is going to be a problem. Would this work if I did it with friends' characters. For instance, I buy the ore, send it to a friend to prospect/make stuff, he sends it to me. Then I send it to my enchanting friend for more d/e's and such. Then I take all profit.

If your friends are that nice.. my ingame friends would never prospect like 100 stacks of saronite per day and make 100s of necklaces to diss :P

But to start out you can make it on a small scale, see how it works.. if it does.. you can make money that way to get enough to level JC/Ench yourself.

I wouldnt pay more than 23g per stack. But i managed to get it down to 20g per stack by getting a chinese farmer to mail me all stacks COD that he could upbring per day.
