well i droped tailor/mine to pick this up, cost me about 5k to get 450 jewel/325 chanter (prices for 1-300 gems on my server are HIGH).

today i bought about 50 stacks of ore and prospected em all, got mostly crap blue quality gems but all the dust/cosmics should recover the money spent on ore + some.

im going to see what kinda returns i get on just the enchanter mats and hold the gems untill 3.1. prices should go up alittle around then.

I never cut the gems myself but sell them in bulk, 25G/gem (no matter what combo gems I have, most are worth at least 10G more)... The reason for this is that I am too much occupied with selling the enchantmats, and I wanna focus on that rather then the gems 2...

Could you clarify? I am having a terrible time selling all rare gems except red ones.

Actually, it's too much of an effort on servers with broken markets...
Dust 3,5-5g/ea, Essence 9-12g/ea, Shards 8-12g/ea and the only gems that're really profitable are reds and yellows right now.

Sounds like the economy on my server. Sure it isnt easy but its possible i made well over 18k this far..

Tried this yesterday. Works great. Usually only selling the enchanting mats alone pays the bill for the ore and the Eternals by far.

Anyway it's kinda difficult selling the cut rares on a highly populated server, while being undercut regularly.Thinking about just selling the raw stones.

yea its the same on my server, blue/green gems sell for like 5g uncut and maybe 20g each for others except reds.

ore/earths on my server seem to be going up everyday also.

Anyway, as I'm still making about 1k a day with less than an hours work, this is definitely worth another +Rep

Make a post on your server's wow forums, a guild might buy them out if you get them a ok deal.

Make life easier..

I've been having a tough time selling dusts and essences lately. Been putting dusts in stacks of 10 just using auctioneer's market price. I thought about undercutting but don't want to totally ruin the market prices as they are 4.5-5g as it is.

Those who have been having an easy time selling the enchanting mats and even gems...have you found anything to work really well? thanks

If you are having problems selling in singles or full stacks. Check out how well dust is selling at stacks of 5 or 10. People amazingly suck at math and I was able to sell a bunch of 5/10 stacks at a higher rate than singles or stacks of 20.

Thats a lot.. but you'll get 3k in no time
If your friend has a lot of time then he'll do it.. cause you'll have hundreds of chains/rings to disenchant :P

I buy saronite ore and Eternal Earth form chinafarmers for 20g/stack and 5g/stack which is waaayyy under the Ah prices. on my server i have to sell dust for 3.2g, and greater cosmic essences for 12g. so this is really ****ed up but I still make much profit
(Scarlet Ruby for a maximum of 50g...)

I will mention this. I think the guy who posted this was probably on a private server. Just so happens to have warglaves and he also uses standard UI. I don't know many hardcore players who do that O.o.

Though it is a good guide. Just saying probably full of shit.
