ya i spent 500g on saronite ore then i prospected sold all rare gems and made those items with other stuff d chanted them and AH everything and im gonna lose 100g IF everything sells. sucks cant do it on my srvr

I made a calculation of my server, because when i use a technique like thisone i always want to be accurate about howmuch money this will make me:

Ore:
400 saronite ore=400g
20 stacks=400g
1 stack=20g
_____________________
Eternal Earth (10 crystallized earth):
8g each.
60 items need: 120 Crystallized Earth.(or 12 eternal earth)

Cost: 12x8g=96g
_____________________
Prospect:
1 stack=4x prospect
20 stacks=80x prospect

Gems:
4 green gems
1 rare gem

20x 4 green gems: 80 green gems
20x 1 rare gem: 20 rare gems

Lets say 20 rare gems sell for 25 gold each. (Blue bring down the price, scarlets bring up the price)
20x25g=500g
80 green gems=15 rings
15 necklace1
15 rings2
15 necklace2
Total: 60 Items to disenchant.

70% turn into: Inifinite Dust.
25% turn into: Lesser Cosmic Essence.
5% turn into: Small Dream Shard.

70 : 100 x 80 = 56 items turn into Infinite Dust.
25 : 100 x 80 = 20 items turn into Lesser Cosmic Essence.
5 : 100 x 80 = 4 items turn into Small Dream Shard.

Infinite Dust + Lesser Cosmic Essence have a 50% chance to be 2 essences/dusts instead of one.

56 : 2 = 28 Infinite Dust plus 56 Infinite Dust

20 : 2 = 10 Lesser Cosmic Essence plus 20 Lesser Cosmic Esence

You will end up with:
20 rare gems that sell for 25 gold each. (lol more ofcourse)
84 Infinite dust that sell for 4 gold each.
10 Greater Cosmic Essences that sell for 15g each.
4 Small Dream Shards that sell for 4g each.

20 gemsx25g= 500g
84 dustx4g= 336g
10 essencex15g=150g
4 shardsx4g= 16g
___________________
Total profit: 1002g.
Total Costs: 496g.
You mutiplied your money by 2. And this calculation isn't really accurate. Because you will get more for your rare gems.
You will get more items to disenchant, because you get a lot more green gems then in this calculation.

Realy nice guide thank's man. I started with 200g and within 2 day's I had 1500g not that many of work. And it is increasing every time. Also some pretty nice macro:

How much are you spending for your eternal earth??? Your spending almost 3 times as much on eternal earth as you are for saronite, that's impossible. You only need around 3/5 of an eternal earth per 1 saronite stack.

So that would lead to the calculation:
Saronite: 500g
Eternal Earth: 20x8 = 160g

Win: 1550
Cost: 660
------------
+890

The only problem is you don't want to flood the market, which is what will happen if you follow this exactly. Good concept, but you're better off doing this on a much smaller scale.

I´ve tried many of the guides on this forum to make money. The first try i made was on the one where you dissenchant the Stoneguard band. I failed horrible at that one. Think i made a loss of 1000g the first 2 days or something. This one however is better imo. Since it leaves more choices and in a way it is also a bit more tricky. You need to see what cut gems sell and when they sell. How big stacks sell and what stacks dont etc. I would say this will take a week to get some good info on your Beancounter. after that its just a matter of watching the auctionhouse a lot. Dont expect to log on, disenchant stuff. put it all on the ah... log in nect morning and collect 5000g..

I did this for almost a week now. and i had to level Jewelcrafting aswell that costed me about 5000g. And after a week i had made
8467g profit (on top of getting all the money back i spend on the JC
leveling).

This said i still have about 60 rare gems that are uncut.

I also checked who bought my unfinite dust and asked them if they needed more. Ended up selling all i had in one go..

This guide has made me the most money, and it has been to most time consuming one.

They are two of the most expensive professions to level if you dont have any characters with gathering professions that can support your leveling its gonna be expensive. Personally i prefer to buy most of the stuff on AH to level my profession then earn the money back. Takes less time but costs alot. Mining is naturally the support profession for JC and tailoring is a good support profession for Enchanting. But if your gonna buy your way to them both.. at my server economy your looking at 6-8000g for both professions.
