This doesn't really work anymore on my server. For a while it worked okay, about 15% profit for whatever I'd dump in, but its not very good any more.

Chalcedony goes for 6-7 g on my server so you're better off selling the Chalcedony on AH.

This worked really well for me, provided I get at least 1 blue per every 3 prospects I broke even by selling it. After that my gold only went up.

Good guide but since 3.2 - all the blue gems sell for 5g each and scarlet rubies for only 30g on my server

prices are server dependent scarlets still go for about 50 on mine

Yeah was sort of thinking the same thing, I know on my server we have around 20+ people that use this gold guide to shit - prices have dropped so much it's hardly worth it anymore

To all those who have an excess of rare gems; you should be breaking at LEAST even on the profit from your enchanting mats (and my servers economy is pretty bad).

My tip is for you to transmute the rare gems into epic gems, try and make friends with a few alchemists. Or find a few people who bulk buy the gems from you (I know someone who constantly buys my scarlet rubies daily and buys the rest of my gems weekly).

Okay just tried this again, started with 160g had 800g within 2 hours (it took so long because I had to wait for the mail to come in). The best part is the more you start off with the more you get!
