I remember doing this when Borean Tundra opened. Except that I could never get a pet above 4G and quickly after - others began noticing the trend. Within a day the AH was full of multiple pets for sell at 50s to 1G where they once were selling nicely at 4G. I suppose the trick is to get the money to buy the pets fast and sell just as quickly to profit.

Btw, you said gold at low levels.Half these places require burning crusade because theyre in outlands.So a lvl 20 going to a place with lvl 68s, not good.
