Time for me to Contribute again.

Since i had a hard life(running around with 50g) i tried my luck and checked the Auction house for Stacks of [Azure Pigment].

Since you know, you can trade 10[Ink of the Sea]----> 1[Snowfall Ink]

Now here comes the good part.

On my realm 20x[Azure Pigment] cost 8g. I bought 5 Stacks, Made 50x[Ink of the Sea] and retraded those for 5x[Snowfall Ink] in Dalaran, there is a Woman called Jessica Sellers, in the Inscription shop.

After trading of 50x[Ink of the Sea]---->5[Snowfall Ink] , which has cost me a total of 40g, i simply type in Trade "WTS [Snowfall Ink] 40g each".

The Auction House price on my realm is 55g/each. You can make mad cash with this, since there arent many Inscriptors who know that you can trade the [Ink of the Sea] for [Snowfall Ink]



Keywords used to see if i am reposting, "Snowfall Ink" "Azure Pigment". Didn't find anything that matches anything of the things written above.

For some of you this might be common sense, but some of you this for sure will help getting back some cash.

Where's the exploit? Any anyone who read patch notes will know about this. Plus it has been posted in the guides section many times before. I remember there being a bunch of "make gold when 3.0.3 comes out!" that involved this method.

All use the method you are speaking of. I also just searched for snowfall ink like you said you did.

"Check AH for Ink of the Sea. " In the 1st link.

"You may still be able to buy some Ink of the Sea cheap and convert them to snowfall (going for about 80g for 1 on my server)." 2nd link.

"If you can get some cheap Ink of the sea (40g or less) i reccomend snatching it up." 3rd Link

"If you can get stacks of ink for 40g or less I recommend buying all you can get." 4th link.

Just learn to read, and compare the guides

Ink on the sea goes for 90g for a stack of 20 and azure pigment goes for 100g a stack

it's not cheaper. edit(for clarity): it IS cheaper to buy the ink of the sea.

1x snowfall = 60g
20x ink of the sea= 90g

20x ink of the sea= 2x snowfall= 120g.
