My guide to level skinning from 1-375

Hey,

About to level my skinning so though i would log what i did to help anyone else out that wanted to do it
without needing to go from place to place not knowing what mobs to kill etc.

Starting at 0 skinning also im a 70 horde mage with epic mount.


Started outfront org at Thunder Ridge( 41,25), seeing as the mobs are all so close together. I then hearthed
back to Orgrimmar when my skinning was at 50 then flew to Cross Roads.

I then decided i would go to 39,14 ( Dry Hills ) in barrens and go down the side of the the map
killing the prowlers seeing as they are bunched up but i would think around Cross Roads is totally fine
if you didnt want to venture out that way.
And the idea of coming to the barrens appealed to me seeing as the recipe: savoury deviate delight
drops in barrens, and i got lucky and it dropped then sold it for 475g.

So i hit 125 and decided fark it ill go somewhere else. you can continue to level there
just go upto camp turjano or what ever its called and follow it down to Shimmeringflats.

Then i went to Undercity and got the next skinning skill.

I then decided to go to Hillsbrad (Darrow Hill 50,33) to kill those random bears etc

I then got my skinning to 155 now im going into the yeti cave at darrow hill right
where we are killing current mobs ( yes you can skin the yettis )

At 165 you can go outside of the cave and go up onto those hills ( Alterac Mountains )

The Headland ( 38,85 ) and Gavins Naze ( 32,82 ) and kill those lion things they require 165+
skinning.

I would kill all the yettis then go upto The Headland and Gavins Naze which is the land ontop
of the cave and kill all the lions and then go back down kill yetis rinse and repeat etc etc.

Ok i stayed until my skinning was at 213 i then went to Undercity to get my skinning skill.

If you wanted to you could go to Strangle Thorn Vale and with a skinning skill of 220 you can go kill those raptors
behind the arena that would be easy, and could even stay in Strangle Thorn Vale until your skinnings at 300.

But i decided to make the grind a bit more fun i would spend time to fly to Badlands
and kill the dark whelpings ( Lethlor Ravine 80,55 ) and hope a pet drops, bring in some more gold

It was a bit slower leveling it here so i decided while i waited for respawns to kill those elite dragons
and kill other mobs around the joint like wolfs etc.

Ok so got to 275 there, and no pet went to Shattrath went to Lower City and learnt next level of skinning.

Now going to Orgimmar to go to Azshara and farm for the Azure Whelping pet, i expect to get nice amount
of rugged leather also, also they are 50 elites so this will slow your leveling down they also
have a fair resistence to frost

Ok so got to 300 skinning there but was taking a bit longer and to much effort haha so now going to
Wintersping to kill the Ice Thisle Yetis they drop heaps of Rugged Leather ( Ice Thistle Hills 66,44)

Ok left there at around 330 and decided just to go to terokkar forest and kill random mobs, Got it to 355
now i stopped because ill level it while leveling now, and am now high enough level to skin my level mobs.

Hope this helped some people out.

Also a tip is if you want to see what the max level mob you can skin at your current skinning level, aslong as
your skinning is over 100 you devide your number by 5 and thats the max level mob you can skin. i.e skinning at
245 devided by 5 = 49 so max level you can skin is level 49.
