i put it in my config and save it but when i reload wow and recheck the config its gone ... yes i clicked save lol
I've read worldofwarcraft.com forum, some people have the same problem as you too. But Blizzard's answer was..... almost useless. They keep talking about file permission. I think the better solution for you would be that you save these in your macro and use macro every time you start WoW.
All of these commands don't fit in one macro, so you gotta make a few macros but still works.![]()
Nice worked for me , everything seems to run a bit smoother
+rep EDIT: Sorry I have to spread first
Thanks. I will test a difference in dalaran and 25 ppl raids
Thanks a lot! I was looking for such settings for ages. Highered my fps in Dalaran on my crappy laptop to 20. and around 30 anywhere else. Gonna test on 25man raid now.
Cheers! +Rep
is this helpful to get better framerates with fraps
It worked.
Anyway im having the GeForce 285, but tried it out anyway.
While it certainly does reduce the load of running WoW and FRAPS at the same time, please realize that the graphics are considerably downgraded.
It's hard to tell the difference between the "default" Low setting and these low settings, but the performance boost is there. If you're used to playing with everything maxed out, however, your eyes might bleed a bit.![]()
Confirmed -> Works!
I put the Codes into the Config.wtf and ran to Dalaran, and seems like my FPS went better.
Thank you so much.
+2 Rep given!
Great post ;D makes it a lot easier for those who havent got that great a PC.
My brother just got a whole lot happier for playing wow ;D
Cool going to test it in a raid later in the week. Is annoying having to use my pc for raids due to my laptop sucking it up.
