god every1s mages seem 2 be bitches, my server mages only charge reagent costs =D then again my servers mages are like 50 in the entire server, imho this is stupid ppl just walk off 2

I've played a mage for a very long time.. At first its all cool, a little water there, a port here and there.. but then there's something in your brain that just SNAPS and you get so sick of porting all those people, and making food and water..

You wouldn't beleive what people have asked me to do with my spells, there was this one level like 34 that was lost in Don morog (outside of org, sorry for spelling I play horde) and he asked me to port him.. so I was like where are you blah blah aand he says idk. so I find out hes there and I just tell him to hearth ..

But it does start getting exausting, and as a mage.. it makes you feel happy to say the magic word ''no''

I can tell you play alliance, because on horde mages are mature and well give you food if your kind.. What I find that works 100% is I PM a mage saying ''Hey, can I have some food and water please? ?", and unless he's a ******* he well give you food and water.

My main is a mage, and when someone says ''WATER!!!" I pretend like I don't even know them because it's annoying. You can always go to a food vendor and spend like 20s on 1 stack of food/water..

Sometimes I well ask them for a few gold to ''repair" which is a good trick. When someone PM's me I well go ''Can you tip, I need to repair" and they well gief a lil ammount which is always nice.. lol

But seriously, this has to be one of the dumbest threads I have ever seen.

You are really showing how mature you are by basiclly saying that all players who are not in the same faction as you are unmature.

But back on topic, this thread is dumb, just as Smahs just stated.
Just be polite or tip with a gold or two and im sure you will get ur food.

"WATER!!!!!!!111" -> Mage will ignore you.

Of course there are ALWAYS bad people that don't make it even if you ask politely... on my server some Mages charge 10 gold for a portal...

As we mages level up we are constantly seen as vending machines. If you take the time to ask us nicely and in complete sentences for food/water/portals, we can usually oblige. Ports especially are seen as a service worth at least 5g usually (depends a lot). If we are doing something more important to us at the moment you may be out of luck or need to find another mage. After all we play to enjoy our time in the game just as much as any other player or class.
