Being a woman irl, and one that went through a violent divorce where the WoW account we shared was being fought over.... I can tell you from experience that even this story won't get them to change the name on your account. Believe me, I tried for three years.

Not sure, I personally don't have any accounts that I need to change. Also, people would probably rather just go ahead and forge a legal document than just do this. And Blizzard has been up for 4 years... almost 5.
