Quicker Tmbermaw Rep at 80 before 3.0.8

Hey Guys, as the wow servers are down at the moment I was doing a bit of thinking on how to get my level 80 exalted with the Timbermaw quicker.

I came across the below post a few days ago and it made me think i could use tnl's idea to do the reverse.

When patch 3.0.8 comes out the rep from grey mobs will be normalized so we get full rep, if you want to grind a bit before the patch and get quicker rep try the below. Obviously this will also work great after 3.0.8

1st you need a mechano-hog or a Mammoth that can take passengers.

2nd, another account with a level 45 -60 toon or a newly created DK might be the best option. Get this toon down to felwood and on your mount as a passenger.

3rd At 80 the mobs are much lower then us so it's painful especially a class with limited range attacks to pull them and I am lazy..

So to gather many mobs up for a large aoe kill, ride around the furbie camps and the low level toon should range agro lots of mobs as you ride past, after you have a nice number following you, get off the mount with your 80 and kick their ass, repeat and profit !

This should make it much faster to get kills and rep bringing the mobs to you rather then you going to them.

I haven't tried this, once the servers come back up I'll go and test it out.

Did you read my post ? Bottom line says i haven't tried it.

If it works why would it be useless ? It means you can kill mobs much faster as they come to you...

Nooooo not useless =p Achievement involving timbermaw rep would be much easier ;p

CONFIRMED: Tested it today works great. Was killing 5-8 at a time as they to spaced out to get more then that.

Lowbie does get XP but that's not too much of a prob !!
