For Sunfury Signets, Eclipsion Point, in west Shadowmoon Valley, is a great place for me. I fly up to the top tier, where Grand Commander Ruuskj stands (he's elite, with 2 elite mobs next to him, but you should never get close enough to aggro him). Just do a lap around the terrace, even going behind the platform where Ruuskj stands. Most mobs are 1-pulls, with the occasional 2-pulls. I raked in 70 sunfury signets in one hour doing this, plus tons of netherweave and a few good green items. The mages have a chance of dropping the enchanter recipe: Greater Arcane Resistance to cloak (+15), seen only by enchanters when looting. The centurions have a chance of dropping the Haste Potion recipe for alchemists (also only seen by alchemists when looting). All of these occasionally drop Arcane Tomes.

For Marks of Sargeras, Legion Hold in northwest Shadowmoon Valley, farming the shadow council warlocks. They stand around the pillars in groups. There is an elite pit-boss type mob that roams in a predictable circle, just follow behind him and you should be fine. These mobs have the alchemist recipe for Major Shadow Protection potion, and Fel Strength Elixir. You'll also find a Fel Armament every now and then.

With either of these places, expect tons of netherweave cloth and approximately 15 silver per kill.

So.. Won't the mobs atk?

Actually, the Grand Commander just kinda stands there with thumb up arse while you kill all his people. That gave me the inspiration for the cartoon, that and the truly nasty crits I was getting off the mobs. They'd generally die before they touched me and did minimal damage to my pet. Guess the worst mobs are that one eclipsion bird, and the one wandering mounted patrol.

As for the elites not attacking, now, I am 70 so the aggro radious isn't as large, something to watch out for if you happen to be lower. I put off the aldor/scryer question as I figured it would be far easier to get that rep at 70, whichever I chose. Of course I still haven't chosen, just selling the marks for 1+gold each.
