[Guide] Getting Gold at a Low Level

Hey MMOWNED! I know it’s pretty annoying when you start off on a new server or just new to WoW to get gold at a low level. Well here is my guide on getting gold during those times when you’re just plain broke. These methods are pretty well known but might still help people so here they are.

Start out by getting one or two runs through a good level instance. If your level 20 than either Deadmines or the Stockade would be a good choice. After you have 5-10 gold, move onto the methods of making money.

***Method One – The Auction House Profit***

After you have at least 5-10 gold, go to the auction house with the addon Auctioneer. This addon will tell you how much an item will sell to a vendor. Find a lot of cheap items that will sell to a vendor for more than the buyout price. I recommend setting Auctioneer to only show results with a buyout price of 0-3 gold. Then, buy as much as you can of items like this, and vendor sell them for more! This does take a while to build up large amounts but in a half hour I made 5 gold doing this! Also, while you’re here, sell any and all unneeded items. NOT GREYS!!! And make sure to put them for MORE than you can vendor sell them

***Method Two – Cross Faction Selling***

Another well known method is cross faction selling. What you need here is simple; you’re main character with 5-10 gold, and an alternative account, or a friend. First, get the gold to the other character, which will be on the other faction, if you’re Alliance, have a Horde person helping you, if you’re Horde, have an Ally. To get the gold on the other person, have the alt put something in the AH for however much gold you want to give to him.
YOU MUST BE IN BOOTY BAY OR TANARIS TO SELL CROSS-FACTION!!!
After you put the item in, have the other character buy it, Thus, exchanging the gold. Now, go buy the other factions many companions, for alliance, prairie dog, cat, etc. stuff like that. Then transfer them to your other character other character by putting them one by one in the Auction House for 1 copper buyout and IMIDIATTLY buy it on your other character, DO NOT LET SOMEONE ELSE BUY IT!!!! And then sell them in your main city auction house.
PEOPLE WILL PAY A LOT FOR COMPANIONS THAT THEY CAN’T GET!!!

***Method Three – Professions and Secondary Skills***

This one is simple, just learn professions and level them! Skinning and Herbalism will make you money; Herbing especially because of Inscription people might need herbs. As for Secondary Skills, get fishing. It will help you get a lot of money if you get it high enough. Well that’s all I can think of for this method.

In Shatt, dalaran and booty bay. alliance adn horde can see what the other faction put in the auction house as long as they were put in at shatt, dalaran or BB.

weather most people can work this stuff out themselves or not doesn't matter as long as some people find a use for it. and new players/people coming back to wow who dont remember much might use this
