this is pretty common sense... and yes it can work on other phones if you can remote to your computer with it.
but really the phone will lag too much to be able to get a really good amount vs just sitting at your comp and clicking it.

@Asgard: As Swankboss said, no other hardware (phones, palm pilots, w/e) can use a VNC server (to my knowledge).

I now realize this probably should have went to the guides section but I'm a bit new so cut me some slack maybe?

Obviously, this can be used for other things as well, like the AH, but I don't work the AH much. Just liked to level my fishing and cooking while I was at work, and this was an easy way to do it.

Caution: Not sure if this is a bannable offense since I'm still technically controlling my character, so be warned. Remember to always have your whisper chat pulled up so you can reply back to people who whisper you.

the point of this is not to do it from your home, but from somewhere else. Duh, you can sit at home and click the bober and it's faster, but if you aren't able to be home, then this is better then not being able to do it at all.

you can use anything to do this as long as it has remote access. This is not bannable in the slightest.

The downside of this is that VNC is world wide used program so there are toons of exploits and bruteforcers for it (i remember one that bypassed ANY vnc). Dont mention that your phone can also have some kind of keylogger. I guess you double your chance of getting your account stolen (or even credit cards).

So if you still wanna use it i recommend you download latest version and check it daily/weekly for upgrade. And DO NOT under any conditions leave your VNC server password on default! Also changing the port to something random is highly advised.

Iphone / Itouch are the ones with VNC. If you can remote into another computer with a phone then it should work.
