Prospecting for $$!

First off you will need 420+ Jewel crafting to prospect Saronite ore.

This is basicly an updated version of http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...ospecting.html
WARNING: I will be going off of MY servers economy.


Saronite orex20 = 30g(Average)


You will need to buy at least 21 stacks! for MAXIMUM profit.

% For gems to be prospected out of Saronite Ore.

4% for each blue quality gem.
18% for a green quality gem.



21 stacks of saronite ore = 420ore.



420 / 5 = 84 prospects.


Im not sure if the % on the gem rate is quite correct because I get ATLEAST one blue quality gem per 2 stacks.


On my server -

Scarlet Ruby - 75g
Autumn's Glow - 35g
Monarch Topaz - 50g
Forest Emerald - 10g
Twilight Opal - 15g
Sky Sapphire - 10g


What you do is buy A LOT of saronite ore stacks.


Then you make a macro like the following:

#show Saronite Ore
/cast Prospecting
/use Saronite Ore

Put this on your action bar as 3


After that make sure you have AutoHotkey downloaded for the auto-prospecting. http://www.autohotkey.com/download/A...keyInstall.exe

You will need to make a notepad as the following:

WinWait, World of Warcraft, 
IfWinNotActive, World of Warcraft, , WinActivate, World of Warcraft, 
WinWaitActive, World of Warcraft, 


Loop,
    {
Sleep, 2000
Send, 3
sleep, 2000
 }
Return

(If anyone can make a pause hotkey please let me know I will add)



After you buy your saronite ore use the AHK file.


Take an afk or just sit and watch gold come in.


After you're done prospecting post the gems on the AH. Make sure to undercut by 1-6g if you want them to sell quickly.

Now with all those green quality gems.


Spam trade with something like this:

HUGE GREEn QUALITY GEM BLOWOUT! We have several stacks of EACH color gem in stock! PST to buy each stack 10-30g(Depends on server economy)!!!

I can guarantee they WILL NOT sell on the ah from past experience.




Now go out there and make money!

I didn't know about the auto program so +Rep but why would you want to sell the blue gems?
Why not just pay another JC with: runed scarlet, rigid autumn, glowing twilight, wicked/potent monarchs, vivid forest, solid sky 5-10g per cut and post the gems on the AH and make a bigger profit?
