2v2 Compositions
DPS / DPS:
- Death Knight / Retribution Paladin
- Your primary focus is going to be burst DPS. Open on the target with the lowest armor, maintaining awareness as to what the other player is doing. If the enemy team has no healer, drop your Hammer of Justice on the DPS target. If an enemy rogue opens with a cheap shot on your Death Knight, Hammer him to preclude that DPS. If the paladin is the victim, Death Grip the Rogue and cast Chains of Ice.
- If the team does have a healer, focus fire the enemy DPS; the Paladin needs to be watchful, so as to be able to Hammer the enemy healer when need be. Assuming he trinkets out, your Death Knight needs to be prepared to Strangulate him immediately.
- Death Knight / Frost Mage
- Utilize the Mage's versatile crowd control abilities, mitigating your opponents' dps potential. This team offers a significant amount of burst damage, silences, snares, and escapes.
- Utilize Death Grip in combination with Frost Nova, followed by a Shatter combo, Counterspelling or Strangulating as necessary. I'd expect this to be an extremely popular combo at high level play.
- Feral Druid / Mutilate Rogue
- Both classes put out unbelievably overpowered amounts of damage right now; combine that with the ability to initiate the fight and your numerous escapes, and you should be on the fast track to 2k+.
- Communication is key to the success of this team; let your mate know when you've kicked, if you need a cyclone, or want a target to be rooted.
- Feral Druid / Balance Druid
- Burst Damage, CC, Stealth, what more could you ask for? I've come up against this setup while running Death Knight / Disc Priest, and the damage output is insurmountable.
- Mutilate Rogue / Frost Mage
- Mutilate Rogue / Balance Druid

Healer x 3 / DPS x 2:
- As it stands, DPS vastly outmatches healing, given the presumably low amount of resilience players will be entering Season 5 with. 4 DPS teams will see the most immediate success, with 3 DPS teams gaining strength as players accrue gear. Until we're deeper into the season, and thus, better geared, setups such as Team Asia won't be viable. Outlast setups will be posted as soon as they're a realistic and worthwhile option.
