i think it sucks ... the blue gem rate is 3%... so from 10 stacks u'll get probably blue gems max....

The blue gem rate can't be 3%, I get like 4 minimum blue gems from 100 ore maybe. This is a really good way to make money, I've made about 3k with maybe 2 or 3 hour's worth of work over the course of 3 days. Very good trick.

sweet mats cost about 508g on my realm and the profit was about 600g ish, not bad at all, assuming someone buys the dusts and blue gems

A note to the people trying this. In general, the percantage you gain should be the same whatever server you play at.

More expensive stacks saronite = more expensive dusts.
Cheaper saronite = cheaper dusts.

So the percentual gain from this guide should be the same for almost all servers.

There are 6 possible types of blue gems.

3% x 6 = 18% So you've got a 18% chance per propect to gain a blue gem.

Fail. 0,97^6 ~ 0,832. There is less than 17 % chance to get a blue gem prospecting 5 Saronite ore.
