Well, I'm not sure, but Blizzard is fighting against gold sellers, aren't they? What you do is taking away their gold, so they don't get any money for it. So actually your kind of damaging them. I don't think they would ban you for that.
But again, I'm not sure about that ^^

@spartin Yes this is 100% ban proof. Buying gold is completely against the rules. if anything, the other person will be banned. To ban you, the gm would have to type in the name and they would notice the change in the accent. I also agree with what Amicitus said. You are only putting an item up for auction for a high price and it would be bought. you are not buying gold, so you can't be banned.

also look for low valued items at a high price. if you find something like linen cloth going on the AH for 2kg then you have hit the jackpot.

PM if you can, I don't understand this method at all, why would someone be buying linen cloth at 2k gold in the first place?

Goldsellers put it in there for 2kg, another one buys it to make the deal 'undercover'
but instead of buying it from the other goldseller, he buys it from you.
