This is also very possible as a Paladin.
Allmost soloed Onyxia yesterday myself, with questing blues at level 78.

I must say, I tried yesterday, didn't work for me.
I am not critimune though (529 def) but still tried it out. Phase 1 is a joke, Phase 2 however is where the pain comes in.

Problem 1: I never meleed Ony. Its hard to look up + look around for whelps
Problem 2: I lose a lot of health on the whelps cause I can't seem to kill them fast enough. Putting diseases on them doesnt work (they die to fast) so I can't really spread the disease around
Problem 3: I still get hit for a lot of damage by her fireballs (mind you, not the deep breath, talking 2-3K fireballs here

I respecced for it and everything cause I am dieing to get the achievement, but I can not complete it.
Can someone post me a spec that would be ideal to do this?

I use a spec thats heavy frost with 18 in blood for imp rune tap.
In phase 2 I just swing my camera up melee then look around and keep going ... the whelps die in like 2 hits with howling blast in full tank gear.
Hope that helps *I also managed to solo Luci in MC today VERY easily but died from a fear + corehound pack on mag*

I tried soloing tiger boss today in quest greens and blues at 80 as unholy build with 15 in blood.. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how to go about it, but i think i'm getting close now. It's easy to get em all to about 40%, its when you have to worry about heals and keeping them all down at the same level that its troublesome.

For those of you trying this, i definitely suggest getting some decent gear... once you do, it shouldnt be a problem spamming your diseases, pestilence, and scourge strike.

Once I get this done, ill definitely try and fraps it. I'll also see if i cant find other ways to solo mount bosses.

I found that it worked a lot better if I specced unholy. In phase 2, I patched up at the beginning, and then put down a D&D right when she almost finished moving to the edge. I then put my two dots on her, hit prestilence, hit unholy blight. I found that I had enough DPS to down her. I am defense capped. However, last time I killed her, I used my DPS gear, so I don't think that should matter. I think if you try it a few times, you should get through it. Phase 3 is a joke agian. Also use your AMS to block as my fireballs as possible. I'm not sure if there is an ideal spec, but I used: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jfVMVZZfMhhhckgcsMcsut

Also a quick note. Farming AQ20 is also possible. There is quite a bit of gold to be made by farming these 3 raids.

Also if you need someone to form a raid (probably obvious), you can just have your friend log onto a multi, form a raid, and then have your friend log off. You will still be in a raid group, but you won't interrupt your friend's questing.

Edit: Just did it 5 min ago. With 2.6k AP in Frost Presence, I was able to kill the whelps with 1 D&D. Made phase 2 easier.
