Skinning Gold In Borean [~500g in 30minutes]

First of all I hope it's not a repost. Haven't found anything simillar.

Ok this is it. You basically have to be lvl 80 (so the grinding will go faster) and you must have skinning as profession.

Now all you have to do, is go in Borean Tundra and when you reach Warsong Hold, start killing those spiders that are lurking around. They have huge droprate for Arctic Fur. I got like 6 Arctic Furs in 20 minutes.
A little hint: try to pull more with you and then head to a warsong hold guard. They will help you kill it.

After like 20 minutes i've noticed that Arctic Furs don't drop anymore.

I'm farming like this for 3 days and i already made 1600gold.

Let's say you get 5 Arctic Furs / day
10 Nerubian Chiftins
3-4 Stacks Borean Leather

TOTAL: 450G + 50G + 55G = ~550G

I have farmed here, and I have to say it sucks. The drop rate for nerubian leather is really low, and the mobs well give 1-3 borean leather scraps (you need 5 I think to create one borean leather) so you have to kill 2-3 to even get one leather (which is 40-60 of em to get a stack), even though you are saying you get that ammount in one day (which made me lol) its still a bad spot and doesn't even compete against some of the other spots in Storm peaks, ZD, or some of the other spots in borean.

Ok, lets say we do get 5 artict furs / day
10 Nerubian Chiftins
and 3-4 stacks of borean leather

TOTAL: 250g + 20G + 25G = 295g (for my server)

but farming the spiders in ZD:
20 stacks of nerubian chiftin
________________________
Total: 400g (not even counting artict fur, and you well get alot more than 20 stacks)

The only reason why someone would farm here is because there botters, or have no idea what there doing.

1) Artict furs are a rare drop chance, they well drop from anything pretty much but have like a 1/100 chance of dropping, so 6 in 20 miniutes doesn't make since at all >.>


(Sorry for flaming, but its not the best farming place.. and you are giving misleading information)


Try to make another guide like this, but give us good information.

Nicely laid out guide, but I have never had a droprate good enough to make it worth farming there... Nice try though

My glider is lvling my Shaman as enhancement by grinding those mammoths in borean. For every 5-6 hours I leave him there I have 20+greens, 2+blues (lvl 68-70), about 10-15 arctic fur and rest borean leather...

I think you just got lucky with the arctics, and tbh, I don't think some mobs have liek a way better droprates then others.

It's neither about farming Borean Leather, nor about farming Nerubians. These 2 are additional incomes. I come here to farm that Arctic piece of s***. I know it sounds .. well not true .. but it really happens for me.

I told my friend to come and farm there too, after i discovered this, and he didn't get any Arctic at all. Then the next day he got there first and farmed 4 pieces (it stopped dropping). Then i came there like 30minutes after and i got nothing. Just like he didn't get anything the day before. I got like about 5 pieces later, in the evening (about 8 hours later).

Maybe it's a matter of who gets there first or I don't know ... maybe i was DAMN lucky ... but in the third day happened again so ...

When I get my WoW working again I'll go here, kill for 30 minutes exactly then skin. If I get 6 Arctic Fur then I love you long time. If I get 0 Arctic Fur I slap you; for posting bullcrap.
