Easy [Volunteer Work] Achievement

Volunteer Work is a requirement for the Glory of the Hero achievement(Red Proto-Drake).

A lot of the people on my server have been having a problem with this one, so I came up with a strategy that is pretty much sure-fire.

This strategy requires a druid/paladin/death knight/warrior/hunter in the group that is not the tank.

You fight the boss as normal, until she decides to sacrifice a volunteer. When she does, the tank gains some distance and the extra mentioned above taunts Jedoga. Once Jedoga gets close to the person who taunted her, the tank then taunts her and kites her to the other side of the platform, by the time she reaches the tank, her enrage should have worn off, or be close to wearing off, making this achievement a lot easier. During that time the DPS won't be dpsing, they'll be waiting for the enrage to wear off like everyone else.

This way is a ton easier if you have a semi-bad tank or healer that can't take the damage being dealt through the enrage.

You can disarm her, too, so warriors, rogues, and spec'd hunters can disarm her, making the enrage much easier.

Why would you need to disarm her with my method?

He's saying you don't need your method, disarming her is 100% less complicated and easy.

Disarm doesn't reduce damage by 100%, in my experience, it doesn't reduce damage by much on when used on NPCs, but maybe its different for Jedoga, I haven't attempted it.

My first post on here, but I'd like to say I've done something easier flawlessly four times.

Clear the sides, and fight her as normal until she goes up into the air for her first sacrifice, then proceed to jump down the waterfall back to the stairs that you entered that room from. She will run down the steps and by the time she gets to you the debuff will have run out.

Rince and repeat now staying down by the entrance door and no longer returning to the platform.

Pet classes must remember to not have their pets out when they jump down, she'll hug the waterfall sides as she runs down and not socially agro the elites that block the platform off, but I'm fairly certain a players pet following its master down will agro the elite blockade.
