    Several tips for Enchanters

Enchanting is quite a profitable profession. Here are a couple of tips. Hopefully some people are helped by this

    Here they are:

1.) This requires for you to either be a tank (such as a dk, war, or din), rogue or feral druid (feral is easier, but other specs are possibilities).

Basically, you want to head to an instance that can easily be soloed and cleared fast. Such as uldaman, or Scarlet Monastery. If you are a tank then round up a lot of the mobs and kill them. Easier for a paladin to do. Then continue on to the boss and kill him, and d/e the loot.

if you are a rogue/druid, then creep through the mobs (better as feral), and then kill the boss. run your ass back outside the instance and repeat.

should not take more than 5 minutes if you are good with our class and have o.k. gear.

    2.) Greater nether essences

I never entirely understood the very high prices for these essences. But nevertheless, on my server, they are going for about 15-20g each.

There are certain items which have a much higher chance of giving these items.

level 41-45 weapons. Most of them cost about 10g, and sometimes they give shards or 2xGreater nether essences.

    3.) Auctioneer tool

Yes, there is another post about this, but the disenchant search in the addon: Auctioneer. it is very helpful.

4.) Common knowledge, but with the mass amount of quests and quest rewards in the different zones in northrend, a great way to make money is by disenchanting the items that you receive. The average price to vendor is about 5-11g, but when you disenchant, I get about 15+ gold. Little profit, but still. 50x quest rewards disenchant with at least a 5g profit is quite good.

Hopefully this is not a repost (Except for #3, but i just wanted to restate it), and benefits someone

It wont get deleted, but that method of farming lower instances for shards and enchanting mats has been so widely known for so long now. SM has been the favorite since lvl 60 days.

So true the thread is kinda useless, i never saw the point in wasting my time on low level places anyway, would get real boring real fast. On my server at least, the high level enchanting mats are selling for insane prices. 1 dust is 6g each, essence is 30g each, dream shards are 28g. I DE'd all my green drops and rewards 70-78 so far and noticed I have about 3.5k in mats.
