Fising & Alchemy - Easy Gold

Hey, I've been a member of MMOwned for over 600 days now so I decided to share something that I found is giving me simple gold

First of all I must say this INVOLVES USING A FISH BOT ! So it is always risky!

Anyway enough talk -

1) I used Mr Fish It, thanks to Nesox

2) You'll need to camp your character somewhere you can fish Pygmy Suckerfish

• Pygmy Suckerfish - Item - World of Warcraft

3) I then leave my character to fish over-night and I have hunderds of fish, So grab your alche char/friend and get them to make Pygmy Oil with your fish

• Pygmy Oil - Item - World of Warcraft

4) With the Pygmy Oil, you then make Guru's Elixir

• Guru's Elixir - Spell - World of Warcraft

And thats it. I have been leaving my character to fish over night, waking up and making these elixirs and selling them for 5 for 50g and so far I've made over 2500G in 3 days for doing basically nothing!

Yeah its risky. Luckily for me I have a 2nd account I can use this on tho

I have used Iwana fishbot every other day in WotLK and so far I haven't been detected or have had any GM contact so either I'm just lucky or the new warden isn't doing its job.

i use mr fish it and fished up all the coins from the dalaran thing (semi-online though cuz i ahd some whispers) and the rat and old ironjaw also came in my claws

Well, let's put it this way - when you fish in Northrend, you get pigmy suckerfish as a possible drop. They sell well on the AH (either by themselves, or turned into Pigmy Oil or Guru's Elixer), so in theory, if you don't get caught, this is a good way to make money.

Cheers man thanks, and your right too - [Pigmy Oil] on its own sells very well on AH.

On my server its 100g for 20 oils atm

I'm an Alch and wasn't sure if leveling up my fishing would be worth it.

Well, I usually try and find spots where I can hide in between plants or trees or in between 2 rocks - But in general, when people see somebody fishing, they dont really think twice about them botting


Just to add a small update, I found another way to make easy gold from fishing.

Step 1) Find a fishing spot off the east coast of Howling Fjord. I myself just fished off the shore of Vengeance Landing.

Step 2) I set up the fishing bot and leave it over night. In this area you can fish up Brooding Darkwater Clams

These clams have a 33% chance to have a Siren's Tear

Step 3) Sell the Siren's Tear on AH, on my server at the moment I just sold 8 of them for 125G each
