AOE FAST EXP and gold spot!!

On the quest "Fire Upon Waters" you are required to set the sail on fire of the sinners folly ship.
Once you set them on fire, aload of scarlet will appear on the ships deck.
You can contsantly just AOE these down, mana/hp break, set sails alight, aoe to gain aload of exp and loot!

It doesn't work like that. I tried this yesterday wondering if this would happen but nothing does. No scarlet mobs spawn, and the ones that were there originally have a really, really low respawn rate.
