If you really want to piss off someone, loot everything but the most worthless item in the chest. The next looter will only get that item. No BOE blue for him.

Actually I tested this, It doesn't work. The chest immediately resets, making it impossible to have an unopened chest out for more than about 2 seconds.

I was doing this for a few days.... then after maintenance... suddenly didn't get a key for an entire day of fishing when I expected around 6.

Think this just got nerfed... if anyone else wants to try to confirm.

Not nerfed, you were probably just unlucky.

It's not even a matter of droprate. There are only couple blues that drop from the chests. On average there are 4 or so blue items from these chest on AH. You would be lucky to sell 1 blue per day at a decent price. No way you're making 800g an hour as the poster stated. Let's get real.

I would, but it's such a bitch to Bot-fish there, because at a time there's like 3 people there, so your bot keeps clicking on their bobbers.

It was great doing this last week, but it seems that people are really starting to catch on and undercutting the prices like crazy. I started out getting around 250g/blue and now I'm lucky to sell them for 150... most people put theirs at 100 or 70. I usually buy the ones at 70 though.. if anything, they can be sold for small profit, but really its so that i have more chance to sell em for higher prices. Its just something thats become very server dependant. Also, its true that only about 3 or 4 blues come from the chest..
