[Theory] Using Ghoul to boost friends

Okay, someone posted the idea, but I've adapted it a bit to be more practical.
The theory is using Raise Dead (A Death-Knight ability) to revive a low level as a ghoul to boost them.
Also, you want the Glyph of the Ghoul, it adds 20% more of your strength to your ghouls. This whole thing works because the ghoul's stats are based on yours.

Idea 1:In an instance, have 3 people (this is sorta like the athene method)
Person 1 pulls the instance without hurting them, then leaves instance
Person 2(Death Knight) watches person 3 die, revives them as a ghoul, leaves group.
Person 3(Being run, turned into a ghoul) mauls the mobs.

Idea 2:Maybe you take a, say, level 30 into outlands, have the mob kill them, rez as a ghoul, leave group, and they can then solo the mob(s). (Outlands/Northrend, so it gives upwards of 1k exp.)
Any other ideas or testing this would be great! (I would test, but I can't right now.)

Woah, really nice if this'll work, going to test this tomrrow as well. but btw, when that player is rezzed as a ghoul, will his hit rate increase enough to match the mobs he wants to attack?

Hm, i didnt think of this... You could think of a way to stay behind them if thats a problem.
Well, again, that'd only apply to killing a higher level mob, if you're doing an instance ~your level that certainly wont be a problem, if it ever is.

hmmm, never tested this.... but it was my understanding that the glyph and all that only effect NPC ghouls that you raise. Same with the actual raise dead spell, they'll only get a cut of your str/stam if it's an NPC, but a player would have their own stats? Atleast that's how I assumed it worked.

Anyway, isn't there a huge experience nerf if the mob is more than 10 levels above you? I thought this was put in place like 2 years ago for this exact reason to prevent boosting.

Even then though, if the first part works that the player becomes a ghoul with a percent of the DK's stats, you could just let the person solo their own gnomer or whatever if they were in the 30 range. The ghould skills arent even half bad, could prolly one-two shot mobs.

Kinda useless without it being tested. +rep to whoever makes a video of this.

    Doesn't work, just tested.
Grabbed a level 5, killed it off and tried rezzing, no go.
    The option just didn't appear.
I think it's due to the whole, 'only usable on corpses which grant experience or honor'* thing.
Still if it worked would have been cool.

    * note: paraphrasing tool tip.
English might be my first language, but that doesn't ensure I'll be good at it.

THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR 3 MAJOR REASONS!

#1- you cant rez a lvl 30 as a ghoul because they dont yield honor or experience
#2- If a lvl 30 kills a lvl 58+ mob in the outland-- they will get NO experience-- it has been nerfed since patch 2.3

#3- your talking about being in an "instance"-- but you need to be at least level 58 to enter an outland instance-- it wont evel let you in (not even with summon)

you can go to outland with a warlock summon.. but you will get NO exp because its so nerfed

I even tried this at lvl 57.. and got virtually NO exp because its so nerfed

#1- you can rez party members, and i don't really think they give honor or xp..(read discription please)
#2- he said that it was an option, not a must
#3- same as #2 and he also mentioned "or a lvl 30~ instance" (instance of the lowbie's lvl duh...)

    1. What? Seriously?
    2. Okay, so that one may not work.
    3. ... When did I say outland instance? You can do it at in appropriate level instance.
I didn't say you had to do all this in the outlands, you can do the instance that's about a right level, it should count you as soloing the mob, and if its around your level, and theres a lot (PLEASE read the whole thing again, you seem to be misunderstading) then you'd get a load of exp.

i tried this in ramparts, had a friend rez me as a ghoul. during the time i was 'ghouled' i got no exp from the killed mobs, since my 'character' was still dead. in fact, you can see your body. good idea, but doesnt work.

IT DOES NOT WORK! i tried it with a level 43 paladin in Zul'farrak and he is to low level to control the groul , good theory anyways!

Please don't try to sound smart if you did not even take into consideration that you cannot enter an instance with mobs more than 10 levels higher than you.

Is it just me or are you trying to play the wheel of phail today?
