Farming Jormungar Scales

Introduction

This is a simple way of farming Jormungar Scales without putting much effort into it. The scales are used for Jormungar Leg Armor. Crafting the leg enchant is an easy way to raise your leatherworking skill.

The Trick

You would want to pick up the quest Hard to Swallow. This allows you to throw dynamite into the mouth of the worms.

Step-by-step

* Grab the quest and head over to the elite Hulking Jormungar spawns.

* Nuke the mob down to ~75% and throw the dynamite when the mob begins to falter.

* Wait for it to explode and skin it.

* Rinse and repeat.

For horde wait for allie to do the above, own the allie get honor and skin

These mobs are actually very easy to solo too, they don't hit super hard because you're meant to take a hit or two. They can be feared, and are easy pickings for my shadowpriest.

Indeed they are. I had no trouble farming them the normal way with my hunter as well, but just getting them down to 75% and then being able to skin it saves time.
