How to make a Death Knight on any server

All u need is a lv55 on your account - and you can make a DK on all realms.

From the Death Knight Creation FAQ forum post:

Q. What if I have a level 55 character on one realm but want to create a death knight on another realm to play with friends?
A. At the launch of Wrath of the Lich King, you will only be able to create a death knight on the same realm where you have an existing level 55 or higher character. In the future, we plan to allow the creation of a death knight on any realm (provided you have at least one level 55+ character).

Looks like it doesn't work, even after character approval.

Edit: The character was approved but a "Temporary" character is yet to appear.

How can I cancel it?

I've managed to create my Death Knight and all but how can I cancel my character transfer?

I've tried going into the paid character transfer section again on my account management page but it doesn't seem to work.

When you are at the PCT section you click on status and under the status bar there is a little link that you can click on. Follow that link and you will cancel the transfer.

Do I have to enter my credit card details?

If so, can I just enter my sisters credit card number, and nothing will ever show up on the bill or transaction list?
