19 Twink Tips & Tricks

Here are a few things for 19 twinks that are probably a little less known. I don't have time to search every guide on the planet to see if these are posted so if it helps you and you didn't know great. If so please reply and let me know as I am curious to see if these are in fact well known.

1. Get a ghost for your 19 twink
You may want to do this while the invasion is still going on as i'm not sure if you will be able to afterwards. I'm sure by now a lot of people know that you can get the Haunted Memento from the scourge invasion. Haunted Memento - Item - World of Warcraft. It comes from the areas on the map with the skulls on them that are being invaded, Tanaris etc. Or just buy one from the AH. Get it on your twink while you still can.

2. BC Enchantable Chest Piece and most likely WOTLK enchantable as well
Formal Dangui - Item - World of Warcraft. This is the Formal Dangui which is a level 60 item that has no level requirement and does not bind to your character so you can get BC chants like +6 stats etc and as of now WOTLK enchants require a 60 item so you could get 275 Health or +10 stats which sould put this as the best chestpiece for most 19 twinks. Formula: Enchant Chest - Powerful Stats - Item - World of Warcraft. This can be purchased from the specialty dress merchant in Moonglade. I know that some of this is common sense but possibly not well known, you can also get runes of warding put on this now. Lesser Rune of Warding - Item - World of Warcraft and Greater Rune of Warding - Item - World of Warcraft.

3. Frost Bolt for you 2H Warriors/Pallies etc.
I have not seen this posted anywhere before please let me know if anyone else has. We all know that you can get Glacial Stone - Item - World of Warcraft for alliance and Runic Darkblade - Item - World of Warcraft for Horde. But what you may not have known is that you can get a level 60+ to apply Frost Oil - Item - World of Warcraft to it for you since they both have an Item Level of 30+ and you have yourself a frost bolt. This may work with Lesser Wizard Oil - Item - World of Warcraft may work as well i'm not sure, if anyone can check on this and verify please let me know.

The frost oil requires level 30+ to use I'm afraid.

But I did not know about the dress! So thank you for that and gratz on not being a leecher anymore!

Frost Oil works, you have to have someone else put it on the weapon through trade window. Sorry I didn't clarify this, i'm not sure the minimum level to apply it but unless they patched this in 3.0.3 then you can have a high level apply it. For premades I usually log on my 70 rogue and apply it to my wifes warrior twinks Glacial Stone. Test it out .
