[GUIDE]How to set up your lovely twink.

Be it Alliance or Horde, it doesn't matter. Shall this guide tell you how to do it, any class, any race, any gender.

You can create a Twink by a few ways. If you do not know what is a twink, here is a definition from WoWWiki:


"Twinks are player characters who have gained powerful gear for their level through enhancements such as expensive weapon enchants, leg patches and BoE/BoP greens, blues or epics. The common goal of a twink is to "complete" it with the best gear possible and pit them against other twinks, though some people use twinks as means to overpower those who don't twink. Twinks obtain their items through rare drops, drops off of bosses in instances, quest rewards from quests that are difficult to complete at their level, and from the Auction House. Twink items on the Auction House are usually very expensive. The enchantments twinks typically have on their equipment, can be performed only by higher-level characters at the top of the enchanting profession and are usually very expensive. Therefore, twinking usually requires significant assistance from high-level alts, friends, and/or guild members. However, there are examples of self-made twinks that generate the necessary gold from Auction House trading or other in-game methods. Twinks are mainly used in PvP fighting or in Battlegrounds. "

Believe me, once you play like a week with Twinks, you get used to them.

Those are the steps:


1. Choose the Class, Race, and Gender for your Twink.

2. a) Level the Twink to :

-15 (If you are going to make a lvl 19 Twink)
-25 (If you are going to make a lvl 29 Twink)
-34 (If you are going to make a lvl 39 Twink)
-44 (If you are going to make a lvl 49 Twink)

b) Buy PowerLeveling for your Twink till lvl:

-15 (If you are going to make a lvl 19 Twink)
-25 (If you are going to make a lvl 29 Twink)
-34 (If you are going to make a lvl 39 Twink)
-44 (If you are going to make a lvl 49 Twink)

3. Look on the Twink Guides (there are many on Internet, you can also look up for some best Twink's Armories in the Forum.) and choose the guide you are going to get, choose carefully, (f.e. if you do not have enough experience to complete all the quest for the twink items so it doesnt hit the x0 level, you should get a replacement ; If you do not have enough money to buy the gear/enchants, you should get a replacement).


4. Try to join a TwinK GuilD. There is usually at least one on each server. The guild members can help you out with quests, items and making premades later.


5. Get all the gear you need from AH (If there is something missing, look it up tomorrow, and until you find it. If you cannot find it for a long time, just get a replacement with nearly the same stats). After you get the gear, try to find an Enchanter to enchant the gear, or if your main is Enchanter, send the BoE items (Unbound) to the main, enchant it then send back to the twink.


6. Do all the quests for the quest twink gear. (If you are still at lvl 17/28/36/45 or any level like that close to the one you need, just level to the x9 level in the normal way, but ONLY after getting all the quest gear.).After you get the gear, try to find an Enchanter to enchant the gear, or if you got another account where your main is an enchanter, just run 2 WoW's in window mode and enchant the Soulbond items with your main in the Trade Window.


7. After you get all the managed enchanted gear, it is the time to stock up on Twink consumables. Rumsey Rum Black's, Elixirs, Potions, Explosives and anything you may find at the money you have left.


8. Put up your Action Bar for some PvP action, go BG. At the first time, try to stay with the group. Later, when you sharpen your skills with the Twink, go alone and try to pwnz the twinks only. If you will be killing simple people or lowbies and be like "omfg Im the pwnzorz" peoples, especially Twinks will be laughing at you.

You're done!

IMPORTANT NOTES

#1 : Try to follow all the steps and notes as accurate as you can, and you will have a succeding Twink.

#2 : Visit the forums and post there, it will get you a lot of respect if you post right and be skilled/geared enough.

#3 : Do not listen to people saying : "Twinkz suckz". They are just cocky that you pwned them in BG.

#4 : If you fail at BG's/Arenas even with the best gear, try to ask the best Twinks how to play properly, and sharpen your skills.

#5 : HK'ing at the middle is bad. At WSG, go protect the flag or take theirs. At AB, protect the most important base if there are not any players at it or go take their bases in groups with 2-3 peoples. OFC go to the least protected bases.

You forgot to mention that most of the members in twink guilds are 9 year old noobs. Just joined a guild with mine (19 lock) and the first premade we made they all started to nag me for my Rumsey rum and deviates.

Also Blizzard said that they are planning to make BattleGrounds give experience, in addition to honor points and tokens. So, no more twinks.

Twink guides take a lot of pages, and there are lots on the Internet, but the guide I wrote can be found very rarely. It may not tell you how to correctly get to the required level w/o risk and some other useful stuff which is not always common sense, but it sure tells a lot more to the starting Twinks.

This is out of date.
I dont know if you stole this, wrote this back in the days before 3.0, or if you did not think of the opportunity to enchant a Weapon/Armor vellum and then send to the twink, or just buy it on AH.
