[little tip] aq40 mounts for Achievements

First off all:
- This is not an exploit (so don't go yelling "omg omg why is this an exploit")
- This is a small tip to help some of you save money.

The achievement to get the Albino drake can be a expensive one.

But you can save about 200x 4 = 800g (this is if you buy netherdrakes, and a bit less ifyou buy netherrays or normal epic flyers) on this achievement by collecting these guys from AQ40:

resonating crystal - Wowhead Search

They count as a mount for the achievement so you could get those instead of buying the more expensive mounts like i said above.

Of course you can't solo them but if you grab some friends or guildies you can farm it to get them.

So you can choose in this way either spend money or hope for these to drop.
(they drop fairly often but it's of course a luck factor)

SMALL EDIT: They seem to have a much higher drop rate in the rooms after Twins.

I had a red one on one of my old characters, I won the roll (raid leader did /roll) while I was AFK mid raid xD

That's why i said "little tip" I didnt really knew it till my guild did an AQ40 run to get the Cthun achievement. I also wasnt counting on it as the mount can only be used in AQ40 but it still counts as a mount for the achievement so thats why i posted it :]

Its more like you get 3, the ferrari aka the red one is really rare :| Just becus of its cool look, but nice tip tho trying to get that albino for tauren -.-

Six months raiding AQ 40 back in the day and we got a total of 3 red mounts. ... God I ****ing hated C'thun trash.

The Red one is also an Feat of Strength Achievement.

I was able to farm the first trash mobs as a feral druid (not the pack, only the patrolling ones) and i had a red mount in my fifth kill!

I'm BT/MH + a few SW geared feral druid but this was before the patch - dunno if its possible to solo with nerfed armor...
