Download 3.0.X & WotLK model viewer (Fans Update)
If that doesn't work

We've all noticed that since the 3.0.X patch for World of Warcraft came out that it crashes WoW Model Viewer. There is a simple way to fix this problem. I had a copy of the 2.4.3 WoW folder named "World of Warcraft 2" just in-case something like this were to happen. So here is how to fix the problem
Step 1.) Go to your World of Warcraft directory. (Commonly for Windows: C:\Program Files\World Of Warcraft)
Step 2.) Rename the directory folder from "World Of Warcraft" to something of your liking. (Example: "World Of Warcraft 2")
Step 3.) Reinstall World of Warcraft from your disks or a download.
Step 4.) Patch up to World of Warcraft 2.4.3. (You can do this by downloading patch files from websites or copying your updating files from your original World Of Warcraft directory.
Step 5.) Once you have patched up to 2.4.3, then go to wherever your WoW Model Viewer directory is.
Step 6.) Look for the file "Config.ini" in your WoW Model Viewer directory.
Step 7.) Open "Config.ini" and look for the line that says "Path=C:\\Program Files\\World of Warcraft\\Data\\" in said file.
Now, you can either keep that how it is and launch WoW Model Viewer, or you can change your 2.4.3 directory's name to something else and then change the "World of Warcraft" section of the Path line to whatever your 2.4.3 directory's name is. Meaning, if I changed my 2.4.3 WoW directory's name to "World Of Warcraft 2-4-3" then I would change my Path line in the "Config.ini" file to the same name. This way you can change your 3.0.X+ WoW directory's name back to World Of Warcraft and live happily ever after.
