HOW TO: Downgrade from 3.0.2 -> 2.4.x

Steps To Downgrading

1) Go to your wow folder and go to data

2) Delete or rename patch.mpq or patch2.mpq

3) Download: 2.x → 2.4.0 Full Patch (~924Mb) from Patch mirrors - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft

4) Install it

5) Hit REPAIR in ur wow folder if there are any errors

6) Play on private servers. Or Just chillax in 2.4.0

When you go back to 2.4.X make sure you use wow.exe not the lanucher because it will try to download the patch.a

Can you then upgrade your patches later when the servers upgrade theirs?
