lvl 1 twink guide

Here i am again, with a twink guide :] I said i would come out with lvl 1 and 29 twink guide. Here is my lvl 1.

Some people say that lvl 1 twinks are a waste of gold. If you follow my steps, you will end up with a very worth while lvl 1 twink.

In this tutorial, if you follow my steps, they you will end up with a dodge rogue twink!


Step one:

The Naming process. This is not a very big idea, but you want something that provokes people, into a duel. My lvl 1 twinks name was fearsmall. its kinda lame, but whatever.


Step two:

The Race. Because we are making a rogue, and only level 1, you will want to have either a human, or gnome. I suggest a human, because of two reasons, one of which is a valid reason. Rogue Gnomes are lil bitches (invalid reason) My actual reason is that gnomes have an escape racial spell... GREAT U ESCAPED A LVL 70 for about 2 sec, then he catches up to u.. Humans have the racial spell to improve stealth sight. This indeed is handy, when dueling other rogues, or druids.


Step Three:

The Weapon. You my friends will need one bad add motha fu***** weapon. The best mainhand weapon for a lvl 1 rogue is by far the Keen Machete. Here is a link to where you can find this, it is a very easy weapon to get, and it is bind on equipt, so you can farm with a main. Keen Machete - Thottbot: World of Warcraft

Step Four:

Here is the tricky part. You do not want to level, so i suggest that, you being a human rogue, and close to stormwind and goldshire, you should have most of your duels right there next to goldshire/stormwind. Here is the deal. You will need to die, there in goldshire, then take your dead body, and float over to the Wesfall spirit healer. Have someone like at level 20 or above farm the defias right next to the spirit healer until a red bandanna drops. once it drops, you will need to res. Here is the tricky part. Run to the spirit healer. Res there, and then run to the npc before it despawns. This is easy, but u need to make sure you are getting close to no exp!!


Step Five:

Now, you have your nice keen machete, and your bandanna. You now need a chest. This is your dodge rogue remember? so you dont want the crappy leather chest or anything. You need this special dress, that can get lvl 47 enchants.. But WHAT?? Heres a link: Simple Black Dress - Thottbot: World of Warcraft

Step six:

Now you have chest, weapon, helm... wait, what about your precious offhand???!?!?

You my friends need some class. How about we get you that dang medicine bag? Now i know, i know, WONT I LEVEL?? You need to get a warlock to summon you to the exact spot (near a res healer) where you will farm furblogs for probally hours.. (i know its a pain in the bottom), but if you want a good level 1 twink, this is vital! Once you are honored with timbermaw hold! This is why you need to farm. The lock that summoned you will need to let u die, then get ur spirit over to him, so that u dont gain exp but can get the rep. alright, now that you know how to do this, here are some thottbot links to help: Furbolg Medicine Pouch - Thottbot: World of Warcraft (the actual med bag) Creature: Gorn One Eye - Thottbot: World of Warcraft (the vendor that sells the med bag)

Step Seven:

Now, you need the fill-ins. You have everything that is vital for your twinking. Get someone to get you the helm agi enchant Link: Libram of Voracity - Thottbot: World of Warcraft

You need to get a few expensive mats and turn em in for one of a few helm rune enchants. GET THE 8 AGI ONE!!! agillity = dodge!

Step Eight:

Heres where you gota enchant all your shit!

Helm: The agi rune

Pants: Nethercleft Leg Armor Link: Nethercleft Leg Armor - Thottbot: World of Warcraft

Weapon: 15 agi PERIOD!! Agi = crits and dodge

Chest: ahh the almighty chest... You have the very awesome one dont you? You know the one u can enchant anything up to lvl 47 enchants? well here is the deal. DO NOT get 6 stats to all... its tempting but its a no no! make sure to get 15 defence rating. And now you are probally saying WTF?? defence rating? is this guy crazy?? BUT defence rating give quite alot of dodge rating! 15 defence dodge rating i believe gives around 30-45 dodge percent! so its vital in a dodge twink!
[EDIT] It has come to my attention that the massive +dodge rating has been disabled, so i would suggest 6 to all stats, for this is the next best enchant. Sorry for the confusion :]

Cape: i got 3 agi, but you can get better... i believe you c an even get dodge rating, but i am not completly sure. :]

Boots: 9 stamina. You cant get much better.

Bracers: 9 stamina, OR i believe it is 6 dodge rating. i would go with 9 stamina, because you do need some stamina...

Gloves: Ah the gloves? well how about we go old school? 15 agi. that will look nice eh?

TRINKETS/NECKLACES:

In shattrath, Lower City, there is a cheezy lil vendor that sells lvl 1 necklaces! Its kinda cool to have one, so i would suggest (if you have enough money) to get one.

Trinkets! there is only 1 that i have knowledge of. The engineering one. Try to do some research on this, because i cant find anything so far. BUT i know its out there :]

good job but im going to borrow your thread for a dodge rogue
the gear is the same but i prefeer the haliscan chest and pants for the style
and if your lazy you can buy Noble's Monocle for head.

Go and fix a night elf for the 1%+ dodge
and this gear enchants,
head: +8agi
chest:+6 stats
back:3+agi
braces:1+agi (9+stam is better tho)
gloves: 15+agi
pants: Nethercleft Leg Armor
feet: 7+agi
and ofc 15+agi on wep


as you see ive taken +agi enchants instead of +defence
if we compair the +3 agi and +12 dodge on the back we see that agi gives more dodge
+12 dodge = 2% dodge
+3 agi = 2,68% dodge
so even 1agi on braces is better then 6+defence

if you wanna raise yor dodge even more you should go down and let some mobs beat on you untill you have full skill in defence to.

when this is done you get around 85%dodge and 42% crit

and cooper, are you refering to the people with the guides as rep farming? because, i am new, and if i really wanted to farm rep, i would be telling everyone who says +rep to actually rep, but im not. i mean, sure rep is nice, but im just posting this, because i had a few lvl 1 twinks, and i wanted to help out some people who needed some info on this.
