Farming World Epic Drops

Sorry if this is posted, I searched but couldn't find it.

I dont know if this still works (altho it isnt an exploit so there is no reason for it to no longer work.)

I lvled my mage from 40 - 60 by only AE farming b4 tbc came out.

At about lvl 48 i started farming the graveyards at sorrow hill. after about 4 hours of farming i got my first world epic drop.

The next day around the same time i surprisingly got another.
I decided to test this by coming back again at the same time, but unfortunatly there was a another guy there that kept steal mobs from me and lovingly loled at me when he stole a mob that contained an epic.

Over the next 3 weeks i came to the spot everyday at the same time and most days i got an epic. On the days i did not get one i /w everyone around me 90% of the time one would say "yes he got an epic drop" (10% of the time opposing faction was around).

So in conclusion:
* World epic items have a respawn timer, that spawns in a specific mobs loot table, in a specific zone
* The epic will most likely spawn on a different timer per area
* The Respawn time for Sorrow Hill is/was 7:00am Server time on REXXAR
* This may or may not be the same respawn timer on other servers

what about the people who use bots..? if they farm the same spot 24/7 they should be getting 1 epic a day

Yea i realize pics will heap this greatly, as i said it was a long time ago.
I if i get time when i get home tonight ill see if its still the same timer.

Im just not sure if anyone knows about it, when u think about it a spawn timer for a range of epics (the ones i was getting were 46ish in lvl) is probably the best system to manage it.

So as i said, if i get time tonight ill head out there to see if it still happens..havent been on wow in forever, just recently reactivated my account.

I botted blood elves in SMV for 4 days straight, not a single epic. First blood elf I pickpocket in an random area, Spinesever...

Yep, i have botted many places for many days straight too, no epics. Only a few greens & blues.

i've botted areas for days and got nothing. i've also botted the same areas and got 2 or 3 epics in a day. its totally random, yes?

You must be extremely lucky to get a world drop in the same spot each day. Nice idea though!

there is no such thing as random.
this is why the database will pick a number of a pile lets say its a pile with 3pm to 10pm and it picks 7pm its not random since a computer cant be random its all about knowing the system that why ppl can still fool machines in casions etc.
So you all know Random does now exist in machine its just timing and calculating.
