2v2 Arena, Rogue Priest Guide. and 3v3 Priest Mage Rogue

Hello All,

Just going to write a quick guide for Disc Priest + Rogue.

1. Specs:

Priest:

Full disc w/ standard holy (( dont get imp Gheal for this combo.))

Dont get gheal because you shouldn't be casting it if the 0.5 sec means the difference between getting gheal off or not.

A special spec is to go into improved fear in shadow tree. and none bar imp concentration in holy - i would reccomened this, combined with set bonus it owns.

Rogue:

Any really...mutiliate works well, SH is fine (( put on pve gear if applicable)


Strat:

Warrior/healer

The basic strategy here is the rogue locks down the warrior as best as he can) stunning, keeping crippling etc.

Crippling is slower than hamstring, so as a priest LOS him well and you will be fine

HEALER WITH ROGUE VS WARRIOR WITH HEALER - ROGUE WILL WIN

So, if the warriors going for your rogue - you should win,

If warriors going for you, lock him down and mana burn other healer when neccessary.

Get warrior to ~40% health, burn fear on other healer, then blind, MC anything u can get to stop the healer...cast smite on the warrior you want to burn him down from 40-0 ASAP.


Mage/Rogue

Pretty standard defensive play here, burn fears ASAP, burn your blind early if needed...you cannot let the mage and rogue both own you, try to LOS sheeps, you can go for either target here, but make sure at least 1 is locked down


Rogue/rogue

Pretty much same as mage/rogue, try to seperate them..burn fears/blinds asap

Warlock/healer

Rogue on warlock, mana burn healer..pretty easy combo vs disc p/rogue

PMR

TIPS: Co-ordinate CC, Let eachother know when fear/blind/cs/sheep is up, blow those in concession and its game over for the other team.

Rogue:

Primary DPS'er, you have to use your blind wisely, try to align it with sheep/fear/blind/cs (your team should be calling out CCs) or against 3 dps teams, use it asap.

Mage:

Sheep, sheep sheep sheep. You may hate it, but thats what you should be doing 75% of the game.

Priest:

Healing/mana burning - easy job.


Now the strats:

Druid/other/other

Any team under 1900 you should be able to burn the druid hard..but if you have a good druid your up against;

Druid/warlock/warrior:

Rogue hits warlock and locks him down, mage hits warrior and locks him down - seems simple but its hard to master - will take a lot of practice

Druid/warrior/rogue

Sheeps on either warrior or rogue at all times, locking down one of these as dps and mana burns on druid. Mage is key here..switching dps to druid when vunerable is not a bad idea

Mirror Match: (PMR v PMR)

How we beat 99.99% of mirror match game is this: If you know its a mirror match get in, go charge...go straight for opponents mage GO GO max dps on mage, blow CDs on priest or rogue as neccessary, priest MD THE MAGES ICE BLOCK ASAP you must dispel it within 1-2 seconds and finish mage off.
