Dramatically Improve Ingame Graphics

Hello everyone! Recently I have found out a way to improve World of Warcrafts graphics, and ingame looks dramatically. In this guide I will explain entirely how you can easily do this. Please note, I do not have the best of computers, however, it doesn't lag me. That doesn't mean it won't lag you, lots of people do get lagged by this so please, use at your own descrestion.

This is BEFORE I did anything, and on lower settings.

Notice how it is much more lush and vibrant in the second one. Lighting and cloud textures dramatically enhanced, aswell as vegitation. It looks like lush foliage.

Now, how do you do it, you may be asking yourself. It is increadibly simple. And can be done with a single macro! It allows you to enhance your graphics beyond of which is meant to be by blizzard, using console commands.

I will give you both macros. One to have it change, and the other to undo it so you can look at the before and after on your own. *Note* The before may not be the same as your settings, so if it's different, I apoligize.

Macro to Enhance Graphics

/console groundEffectDensity 256
/console groundEffectDist 140
/console detailDoodadAlpha 100
/console horizonfarclip 2112
/console farclip 777
/console characterAmbient 0
/console smallcull 0
/console skycloudlod 3

Macro to Revert Changes

/console groundEffectDensity 16
/console groundEffectDist 1
/console horizonfarclip 1305
/console farclip 177
/console characterAmbient 1
/console smallcull 1
/console skycloudlod 1
/console detailDoodadAlpha 1

It's as simple as that, so incredibly easy. I also want to point out that I have my normal video settings on high. I hope you enjoy, and have a fun time playing World of Warcraft! :wave:

Edit - There has been several posts but in my honest opinion aren't as good as mine. They are either missing some console commands or are lacking good pictures or pictures at all.
