Name change

Well after my 6th time talking to a gm trying to change my name lol This is what you should do.

1.Get your friend to help you and tell him to create a char a name close to yours. Like Chaos and Chaoz

2. Ticket a gm for character thing that is what i did than put in this or similiar
Hey there is someone named close to my name [Players name] and hey thinks im copying his name and its making him mad. Any chance you can change it? Thankyou [Yourname]

Well i hope this works.... Tho mine was serious I lost one of my very good friends so i had to change names.

I did this..but a little different...I made a character named "diddo" and there was a guy on the server named "ditto". All I said was I sent mail to him instead of my character...and i got to change my name...plus it all depends on the server admins

This usually depends on the GM you get
If you get a nice one, they usually take pity on you.

Or, you can do what my friend and I did because he ahted his name.

Message - Hi, there is a player around me here in [TOWN HERE] and his name is[MUSTBEWIERDNAME]. I take great offense to that name, because in [RANDOMFOREIGNLANGUAGE] that means [DIRTYAND/ORDISGUSTINGWORD]. Please have him change his name as it greatly offends me. Thank you [YOURNAMEHERE].

It worked for him, so maybe it might work for you. But of course there are the variables. - His Name/Your Name, Server's GMs, etc.

I don’t think I could make the name ‘Chucky’ offensive in any way…and no, it referring to a killer doll doesn’t work..
(Chucky is a common name, which is why I feel ok posting it here )

Yes, I had one who thought my tauren's name was cute. It isnt very common so i wont post it but if you really want to know, pm me.
