Posting 101....A Guide

I have no doubt that someone will find some fault with this thread, but such is the risk of posting. This thread is simply to (I'm sure once again) point out some of the obvious problems people have when posting. If you have been here a while, and have a bit of rep, this guide is most likely not aimed at you.

1. Reposting is Bad, mmmkay? I list this first simply because I am sure that this thread itself is a repost (though i cant actually find one like this. may have missed it/them.) but these are all issues that continue to bother everyone despite previous posts.

Look for people who have posted what you are previously! No one wants to read the same thing 3 or 4 times!

2. Please plz plz plz, post threads in the correct section. There are so many sections, its impossible to NOT know which to post your thread in! If you have any doubt, pm a mod and ASK.

3. The LAST way to get +REP is to ASK FOR IT! You are just going to annoy ppl and get flamed or banned. Is it really worth it? I have not seen a single post giving +rep to a thread simply because they asked for it. I have, however, seen many posts REFUSING to +rep some1 simply because they asked for it.

4. Voice your idea clearly, so that every1 can understand it. If no one knows what you're trying to say, you get 0 rep for the effort. and a bunch of angry comments just to add flavor. Lol.

I may have missed something (prolly did), so if you have anything to add, post it.

One last thing....

If someone posts a comment stating an opinion that you disagree with....chill out. You can't convince every1, and argueing only makes you look like the bad guy.

LOLZ. Thnx for the correction guys. I naturally assumed that since the label was Guides, this would be where to post. If it's in the wrong spot, sorry. =P I promise to do better next time.
