[Guide] Fast Travel ANYWHERE with (RAF)

Hey folks -


I know everyone is pretty sick of hearing about ways to use Recruit a Friend, but I figured I'd post this since I actually use this, and I haven't seen it posted before.

This idea is useful for getting around the huge world of WOW instantly, and while it takes a bit to set up, it's definitely worth while once you use it.


Step 1 - Create a RAF trial account that's linked to your MAIN's account (Refer to other threads if you don't know how to do this)

Step 2 - Figure out where you'd like to be able to fast travel to.

Personally, since I'm questing a lot these days, I have a Trial Character for a bunch of different spots, and have named them accordingly.

Step 3 - Create a toon on the trial account and name him according to where you want to fast travel to (Optional, but helps if you plan on using more than one.)

Step 4 - Move your MAIN toon to where you want to have instant access to. (Class trainer? Profession Trainer? Quest Turn in area?)

Step 5 - Log into both accounts. Use you're main to invite your trial toon.

Step 6 - Right click on the trial toon and select "Summon Friend"

Make sure the trial toon is in a safe place.

Now when ever you want to travel there with you main, simply log in both accounts, join up in a group, and have the TRIAL toon summon your MAIN.

You can do this with as many trial toons as you can make (I forget the limit).


Hope someone found this useful, I definitely benefit from it during questing as it saves me a TON of time running around.

It's not bad, better than the "OMG 3X EXP" posts that have been floating around. Definitely utilizes something that the others failed too. So, +rep to you.

Wait...I'm confused...this *IS* the Guides forum correct? I see this thread among a bunch of other entitled [GUIDE] - and up at the top it reads:

Yes, this is a guide...

Yet this is common knowledge and goes along with all the other raf topics. This is kind of common sense. So, I would read around other threads and posts and try not to post things that are common knowledge.

I see your new around here, so thank you for contributing to the forums. Keep contributing but remember the search button is your friend .

Also, I didn't mean for any of my posts to seem poor-hearted or anything, I'm just trying to point you in the right direction on these forums. :-D
