This is Empties Gliding to Success Guide with min. ban % chance.

There is always a chance that you can get banned, but this guide helps that % go down, as well as an elite glider key

Ok if you heard this info before or if it seems common sence that is to you and maybe not some people.


Basic and simple rules:

Grind in low populated area's
Make sure you are geared enough for the profile (i.e. dont be level 20 with level 10 gear in a level 22 profile)
Buy bags, buy bags, buy bags.- It is important that you have enough bag space because especially for overnight runs while sleeping it does stack up.

Gliding:

Gliding is just the program running to set waypoints and killing trash. To make it less obvious that is a program, try and get a profile that has quest loot in the area.

An example of this is one time i had a quest to kill level 42 wolves and get troll necklace's in the Hinterlands. There was a profile that patrolled that area and not only did i get 2 levels i got 2 quests done, then it seems to blizzard that there drop rate for that item is either really low or you wanted something special.*

*Something special: If you get a profile that goes through a mob that drops a special blue or epic item then it seems more likley that you just want that item bad enough to get it. (Good for overnight glide cause you will probably get it)

/dnd Hard Day at work: Do Not Disturb. This is good for gliding because if you have friends or guildies . Something that seems you are in a pissed off mood, example:

/dnd Been working 16 hour shift, just want to be left alone

Gliding Backround: If you have an elite key you have the choice of the backround option which allows you to go search the web for p0rn while you glide. Its best not to do this because of the Warden. The Warden not only looks for what you have but it looks at what your doing** *=Please note this is not proven but people have reported that they were banned while gliding and having multiple pages open.

Hiding your glider: The Warden looks for suspisous files first so if you name your foulder something like "WoW Glider/Profiles for Glider" ofcourse its going to find it. If you name it something like "Christmas trip to England" its chances go down*
*=Though never proven but it seems that the Warden does not go through personal files

I hope this helped out some people cause i tried and took my time making it.

a little too cautious imho. i too have 4 botted 70s and 2 in full S2, so here's my perspective:

-if warden could realy search your HD, everyone would be banned, as it'd just search for like shadow.sys or another key glider file

-DND imho is an easy way to spot a glider. download WRUGS--it blocks tells, which imho is a lot better

-gliding in low pop areas is all fine and well to say, but easier said than done on some servers. as a rule, i avoid winterspring.

-to expand upon the 'get elite' comment, get PPather. it's way less conspicuous than profiles, IMHO, and won't get stuck on a wall or other object all night (as i understand it, a great way to get caught)

i've only been banned in the wave, but that was software detection, not "user error."

Never was a huge fan of Glider. They made it TOO easy for newbs to use, and it became such a high profile target I never ended up using it much.

Im just trying to help out, giving some advise. I like it cause it was free for me and i havnt been banned yet.

glider is great i've done 3 characters to 70 now pretty quickly.. only time banned was in may banwave.

I swear by it but then again I haven't tried any other bots like openbot or zolo
