Possible way to dupe items

Hello, a while ago my WoW account got hacked. After I got the account back my chars were nacked and much items stolen. So I wrote a ticket to a gm and told him the story. He said that they will check it and give me my items back. One day later I got all my items in my mailbox. But I also got other epics that i sold a while ago (like Nethervortex) to other people back. So I had double profit from them.

A few days ago my account got hacked the second time. I wrote again a ticket to a gm and the same thing happened. I got random epics (like Staff of Natural Fury) back that I sold in the auction house a time ago.

So I thought that you maybe can dupe items through this if you talk to a very good friend and tell him that he should change your password and "steal" a few items. Or you can let him sell a few random epics and let restore them so he got the money and you still have the epic.

this is kinda hard to do, though might work
would try but i dont have boe epics anyway doing this 2-3 times might give the gm suspicions bout your actions , so i wouldn't try that more than 2 times

Its too luck based to be reliable, if you meet a good GM (good at his job) then you won't be as lucky.

well, the one time my retail account was hacked, i made a ticket and asked for my gear back, about 23 hours later, my account was permanently banned, so i wouldnt advise this.

this is so old, just say ur hacked and getting items back, altho, they will recover 3 times an removed item, and i dont know how many times they will reimburse ur char..

I was hacked recently... same thing here, but 1 thing is funny I got the quest items for Soul harvester (warlock lvl 50 quest, awesome staff btw) even tho i have done the q... so if i can find a way to get the q again i can turn it in for a second reward i think?

relax there is almost a quarter of a million users on mmowned....there is going to be some accidental reposts..even with searching

the reason this happens is because there are restore points that are created like in windows so epics and stuff might get returned, it's hard to tell what you'll get back.
